Have you seen building blocks? You know how as you stack the blocks higher and higher , you get more tense and are more careful as you add each block. Then one little mistake or move you make causes the blocks to collapse. Then you have to start all over again and build from bottom up.
This "little voice " is that stumbling block and makes you go down after taking all your time and effort to grow and build up. This "little voice" is called doubt. It is that negative voice that comes to your mind after you have been growing and in faith. It always puts you down and makes you weak. You can't be strong because when you reach to the top you fall right back down because a little doubt comes and throws you down. The only way this is overcomes is through faith.
The Bible says someone who doubt's is like a wave tossed in the sea. Meaning you can be a slave to it and push around like a fool. Use your faith and belief to overcome! If you push that voice out and CHOSE to believe in yourself and God's word, you can overcome anything and anyone. You would be impossible to stop. Make the decision and fight against these negative thoughts because they come from the devil and are lies. Don't beat yourself up about or be so hard on yourself, because you were chosen to step on scorpions and serpents. If you continue in this state God cannot ever count on you.
